India launches "Aakash" the $35 priced world's chepeast tablet computer

As blogged earlier the $35 world's cheapest tablet computer by Indian government aimed at students is finally out. The tablet dubbed "Aakash " will be subsidized by Indian government and will be distributed to students for just US$35 - developed by an UK-based company DataWind in collaboration with Indian Institute of Technology (Rajasthan) the commercial version of the tablet will be called "UbiSlate" and is expected to retail for $60.
