Solution for iTunes firmware restore error 3194 and 1600

Posted: 17 Oct 2012 07:46 PM PDT

Apple blocks users from restoring older iOS firmware's, while this is a good security feature and a method to avoid OS fragmentation. This also prevents users from using jailbroken and carrier-unlockable software versions.

This practice makes iOS upgrade difficult for users relying on software unlock like ultrasn0w which is supported on older basebands only, If you are trying to upgrade an Apple device to an non-supported iOS version even when using TinyUmbrella - the iTunes restore process may throw up error 3194 and 1600 as shown below.

Here are solutions to get past these errors and flash custom, snowbreezed IPSW files to your Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod's.

Despite "Sex" being the top word searched on Internet and an online industry generating 100 Billion of yearly revenues, pornography is something which is not labelled as ethical and morally good.

Well, Come4.org is conceptualized to make it change. Aimed to be an ethical porn movement, the service will allow users to consume free porn and in-turn select a cause (like saving pandas) - any revenue generated from the advertisement linked to that content will go to the support of people, ethical causes and non-profit foundations selected by the user.

How to shutdown and reboot the Raspberry Pi

Posted: 15 Oct 2012 07:49 PM PDT

Raspberry Pi does not feature an power on/off button, if it's receiving power it's ON and if not OFF. However, it is required to do a graceful shutdown or reboot as to prevent any operating-system corruption. Rebooting and Shutting down Raspberry Pi can easily be achieved by using "sudo reboot" (sudo if not using the root account) and "sudo shutdown -hP now" at the terminal. These commands can also be used over SSH terminal if you are running your RasPi headless (without a screen attached) or remotely over network.
